Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of removebackgroundvideo.com, the web application and the Chrome extension (the “Service”) provided by Tech Product Partners Kft. (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
The Service uses AI to remove backgrounds from videos you upload and lets you download the result. Results depend on the source video; we do not guarantee that every video will be processed perfectly.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Free trial and minute packs
- New users can process 1 minute of video for free.
- After that, you can buy minute packs (for example 10, 30 or 60 minutes). Current prices are listed on the pricing page.
- Minutes are deducted according to the duration of the videos you process.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may include applicable taxes as shown at checkout.
- We may change prices for future purchases; this does not affect minutes you have already bought.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
Your content
You keep all rights to the videos you upload and the results you download. You give us a limited licence to store and process your videos only to provide the Service to you. You confirm that you have the rights to the videos you upload, including the consent of people who appear in them.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or depicts minors in a harmful way;
- create deceptive content intended to impersonate or defraud others;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass limits of the Service;
- resell access to the Service without our permission.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features.
Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
